Nikon D3300 DSLR Camera Kit w/ 18-55mm Lens
The Nikon D3300 exceeds the performance of its excellent predecessor, the D3200, despite sharing the same 24-megapixel DX-format sensor and 11-point autofocus system. Offering improved photo quality and a smaller and lighter body, the Nikon D3300 makes it a suitable choice for a first-timer DSLR. The addition of Nikon’s Expeed 4 image processing engine also allows the camera to deliver a modest bump over the D3200’s continuous shooting rate, up to five frames per second. The camera’s battery life has also been improved considerably.
The D3300 is not equipped with built-in WiFi and does lack somewhat when it comes to the modern features that a photographer may expect from a point-and-shoot. However, it records HD video, has a mode designed specifically to help beginners, and overall offers excellent performance for the money. While the Nikon D3300 isn’t revolutionary, nor does it represent a drastic change from its predecessor, it offers enough speed and versatility to serve the needs of any beginner photographer.
